On December 9th, 2011 CLfT concluded its 40th Workshop. The first CLfT Workshop was conducted at the Max McGraw Wildlife Foundation in Dundee, IL in 2005. Since that 1st workshop CLfT has conducted a total of 34 Student Workshops and 6 Agency Workshops. The total number of participants attending a CLfT workshop has exceeded 640.
Agency Workshops began in 2010, unlike the student workshops attended by college and university students, Agency workshops involve participants who are current fish and wildlife agency employees.
The latest Agency Workshop included participants from; Texas, Utah, Vermont, Colorado, Arizona, Georgia, Illinois and Florida.
CLfT had 13 Workshops scheduled in 2011 - 2012 which began September 7th at Ringneck Ranch in Tipton Kansas and will conclude the year at Chesapeake Farms in Maryland February 26th.
